Statistical Agencies of BiH revealed Interesting Data on Vehicles in BiH

trafficjam2According to the data of the statistical agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 921 456 vehicles were registered in B&H in 2014.

Of the total number of registered road motor vehicles in 2014, 87 percent are passenger cars, 8 percent are trucks and other commercial vehicles, and 5 per cent are all other categories of vehicles.

A total of 801 253 passenger cars were registered in 2014, out of which 75 percent, or 608 419, are older than 10 years.

As for the fuel, Bosnians prefer diesel. Of the total number of passenger cars, 520 004 of them use diesel fuel, and when it comes to the engine displacement, most cars have the capacity of between 1 400 and 1 900 cubic centimeters. Two-thirds of the cars have engines of Euro 1, Euro 2 and Euro 3 categories.

In 2014, a total of 2 665 mopeds, 7 833 motorcycles, 4 130 buses and 76 226 trucks were registered in B&H. Of the total number of vehicles, 76 572 vehicles were registered for the first time, which is the number of new and used vehicles that are imported in the past year in B&H.
