Stojanovic told Dodik: There is no “Muslim Unification” against the RS or against the Croats

The Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), Igor Stojanovic, reacted to the statements of Milorad Dodik, saying that there is no Muslim unification against the Republika Srpska (RS) or against the Croats, as he interprets it.

“State institutions will make decisions about state property. There is no Muslim unification against RS or against Croats, as Milorad Dodik calls it. There is an agreement to protect state property and caution that separatist threats exclude something that belongs to the state of BiH and to all of its citizens. That in the end something state is sold, without the state parliament and state institutions deciding on it,” said Stojanovic.

He notes that he is not a Muslim Bosniak and that the defense of property, which will be decided by the state parliament and other authorities according to their competences, will remain his priority for the defense of state property.

“We all know that BiH constituted by the Dayton Agreement is the continuation of the Socialist Republic of BiH. No one is endangering anyone by protecting state property. Due to the economic crisis in which the RS is, one cannot trade with BiH,” he said.

He added that Mrs. Cvijanovic’s qualifications that the member of the presidency, Denis Becirovic, should organize the FBiH, and not comment on the RS, are not appropriate.

“The FBiH does not want to trade in state assets to solve accumulated financial problems. The RS does. The FBiH, even with the government crisis, has much better economic indicators than the RS and there is no need to sell and pledge anything. And we are also ready for cooperation so that the whole “BiH was more economically developed. The new government in FBiH, as soon as it is established, will show that,” he said.

He pointed out that one of the key problems in our country is political division.

“Instead of focusing on common goals and interests, too much time and energy is spent on confrontations and conflicts between political leaders. This is not only unproductive, but also harmful to our country. These problems can easily seem too big to solve, we must hope and work to overcome them,” he stressed.

In the end, he says that we must look for leadership that will unite us and direct our efforts towards common goals, rather than mutual conflicts.

“It must be clear to everyone that the state and state property are unquestionable, and cooperation to overcome problems is inevitable. Regardless of whether you are a Serb, a Bosniak, a Croat or others,” he concluded.

To recall, after warning of Denis Becirovic not to play with fire and that separatist moves could endanger the peace process, Dodik told Becirovic not to play with RS and the Serbs.

“We are not ready to sacrifice peace for anything, not even for the RS, but we are not ready to sacrifice the RS for unconstitutional BiH,” Dodik noted two days ago.

He said that if Becirovic accepts the Dayton Agreement, then they have no problem, but that if, like other Bosniak politicians, he will say one thing and do another, he must know that it will not pass, Klix.ba reports.
