Strike of Lufthansa Pilots: Cancelled Flights from Sarajevo Airport

lufthansaFrom Sarajevo International Airport informed that due to the strike of pilots of the German airline Lufthansa, flights to Munich and flights from this city to the capital of BiH are canceled.

“From Lufthansa confirmed that the passengers who purchased tickets, depending on the destination, were transferred to flights of other airlines,” said Sanja Bagaric, Associate for Public Relations of Sarajevo International Airport.

Pilots are striking for the second day, and from the company announced that a total of 912 flights were canceled today. According to announcements of the labor union of pilots, strike will be extended on Friday and will refer to the short and medium flights in Germany and Europe.
