Strike of Miners announced for Tomorrow will not take place

The strike that was announced for tomorrow in the Kreka Tuzla Coal Mine will not take place.

This information for Fena was confirmed by the president of the Kreka Mine Trade Union, Zuhdija Tokic. The decision came after the Tuzla Municipal Court banned the miners of the Kreka Coal Mine from holding a general strike. By a court decision, miners have no right to appeal.

“We respect the decision of the court in Tuzla. If the court’s decision is negative, ie it does not suspend the implementation of the decision to send workers on a break until the end of the peace process, mass protests will follow,” said Tokic.

The trade union board of the Kreka coal mine in Tuzla filed a lawsuit against the acting Director Husein Trumic, while Elektroprivreda BiH, the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry in the FBiH Government and the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic asked to change the management of the Kreka Tuzla Coal Mine. They refer to the FBiH Labor Law, and announce individual lawsuits

“This decision on termination is not in accordance with any act and everyone will sue and get verdicts. The directors who make such decisions are leaving, and we are left with the consequences of resolving the lawsuits,” said Tokic.

In the first group of workers who will be in the waiting status are the chief clerks, responsible clerks, heads of sectors and services in the administration, analysts, chief geology engineer, and production engineer.
