An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale, with an epicenter not far from the Albanian town of Elbasan, was also felt last night in Montenegro.
The seismology sector of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro registered a moderate earthquake at 17 minutes after midnight with an epicenter 31 kilometers southwest of Elbasan.
The Institute announced that the strength of this earthquake in the focal point was 4.6 units on the Richter scale, and that the hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
This earthquake could have caused only minor material damage in the epicentral area.
