Strong Earthquake hits Bosnia and Herzegovina

Today around 10:30 a.m. a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale was registered seven kilometers from Grud.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake was 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale at a depth of eight kilometers.

The earthquake was registered seven kilometers from Grude and 39 kilometers from Mostar.

According to the testimonies of citizens, the earthquake was strong and lasted 10-15 seconds.

“Strong rumbling”, “Strong earthquake”, “It shook well”, “Siroki, Ljubuški, Posušje earthquake…”, “Uncomfortably strong”, “It shook things”… these are just some of the comments of the earthquake witnesses.

For now, there is no information about injured persons or material damage.
