A stronger earthquake hit Croatia tonight, i.e. the epicenter was five kilometers from Trogir.
According to the first data from the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale and was at a depth of 11 kilometers.
The epicenter was five kilometers from Trogir with a population of 10,900 people and 17 kilometers from Split with a population of 176,000.
On the EMSC website, residents of the area state that the earthquake was felt briefly but violently. Some also state that they immediately ran away from the house due to the force of the earthquake.
