Strong Earthquake struck Alaska

A magnitude 7.3 earthquake has struck Alaska, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake was recorded near Sand Point on Popoff Island, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a tsunami warning for parts of Alaska, which was later lifted.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
