Students of the Secondary School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy from Sarajevo participated in the 31st Republic Competition of Geodetic and Civil Engineering Schools of Serbia, which this year had an international character.

The competition was held from May 13th to 15th, 2022, and a total of 26 schools and 132 students competed in eleven disciplines. The High School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy participated at the invitation of the director of the School of Textile and Leather Design from Novi Pazar, Meho Camovic.

Apart from Sarajevo, schools from Banja Luka and Podgorica also participated in the competition.

The Secondary School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy was represented by students Alic Hana, Bajtarevic Edna, and Gibanica Elmedina, who competed in theoretical disciplines, and Guso Sedad and Prijic Alem in practical disciplines. The students were accompanied by the director of the school Demir Asmir and mentors Malanovic Edis and Smajic Saudin.

Even though the students were scored outside the official competition, they achieved remarkable results. Student Edna Bajtarevic won second place in the competition in Geodetic Measurements and Calculations, and the jury praised Guso Sedad for his excellent work.

It was said from this school that this was an opportunity to share the experiences of both students and teachers of the civil engineering and geodesy profession., Klix.ba writes.
