Students from Jajce: We Don’t Want Divisions

jajceAfter the MPs of SBK Assembly provided support for the decision of establishing a separate high school in Jajce, where classes will be held in Bosnian language, students of high school Nikola Šop and Vocational High School in Jajce, held a peaceful protest in front of these two schools.

More than 30 students said that they don’t want divisions based on their nationality, because they’re all one. How important the voice of the future of this country is, we can conclude from the fact that none of the representatives of state or local government did not provide any support for them. Still, the support was provided by the ambassador of OSCE in BiH, Johnathan Moore.

”The ambassador told us that it’s completely senseless to divide schools and that he will have a word with the representatives of SBK government an in that way do whatever he can to help us. We told him about the condition in our schools and divisions across BiH, emphasizing that it’s not something we want to see in Jajce,” said for Klix. ba I. Jukanović one of the students.

In order to show their unity and that ”differences” are not obstacle for their friendship, they made a picture holding the flags of BiH, Republic of Croatia and Republic of Serbia.

”This is the proof of our equality and love,” said Jukanović.

They expressed their hopes that division of schools will be abolished before the beginning of the new school year; otherwise, they’ve decided to boycott classes.
