In the first six months of 2015, the cement factory Lukavac realized a net profit of 4.23 million BAM, Indikator.ba reported on the basis of the financial report of the company published on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
That is a weaker result in comparison with the same period last year, when the profit after the tax amounted to 7.64 million BAM.
The decline in profit is a consequence of the drop of operating revenues which are realized in the amount of 23.0 million BAM in comparison with 27.8 million BAM in the same period in 2014.
The expenses amounted to 19.1 million BAM and are lower than the year before, when they amounted to 21.8 million BAM.
The operating profit amounted to 3.87 million BAM, as opposed to 5.98 million BAM in the same period in 2014.
The company has long-term liabilities of 24.4 million BAM, which refer to long-term loans, while the short-term liabilities amount to 19.1 million BAM (11.5 million BAM in the first half of 2014) and refer to operating liabilities and other accounts payable.
At the end of the period, the cement factory Lukavac employed 197 workers, which is 12 workers more than at the end of the first half of 2014.
The cement factory Lukavac is owned by the Austrian group Asamer Baustoffe AG by 99.3 percent.
The company owns the Quarry Karabegovac (100 percent(CEDIS Ltd. Zagreb (80 percent), and the Limestone Mine Vijenac Ltd. Lukavac (50 percent).
