Michael Askwit, an evaluator at UNDP was on a working visit to municipality Bihać yesterday.

At a meeting with representatives of the municipality they spoke about joint realized projects in the last few years.

Among others, they highlighted the reconstruction projects of buildings of the former Hygiene Institute and Cultural Center in Bihać, as well as the water supply network in Martin Brod and Lohova, Youth Employment Center for Information, Counseling and Training (CISO), construction of a cultural center in Ripča and the development of a strategy for the municipality.

“We spoke of projects that would be implemented soon. It is evident that cooperation of municipality Bihać and UNDP is one of the best indicators as local communities are successfully implementing projects with international organizations’’, said the advisor of the mayor of Bihać Smail Toromanović.
