Suljagic: Dead Muslims were treated like Trash by utility Workers in 1995

Director of the Memorial Center in Potocari, Emir Suljagic, spoke at the Srebrenica Heroine (Women Heroes) International Conference as the host and emphasized the importance of the Mothers of Srebrenica in the fight for truth and justice about the genocide that was committed.

Suljagic said that the surviving women, mothers, and everyone who saved their lives showed a signpost after the horror that happened in July 1995.

”When we came out in 1995, nobody liked us. No one welcomed us, realistically people didn’t know, they didn’t know what happened here in July 1995 or what happened before that. This part of the world here has been taken back to the Middle Ages. We communicated with the couriers here,” noted Suljagic.

It is terrible that the people found their loved ones and are still finding them in parts of 100 kilometers away from Srebrenica.

”When you go to Bratunac during your break and you see people sweeping the streets in Bratunac. One of them or someone who worked there before, keep that in mind, on the 13th and 14th collected corpses and dug mass graves. This was done by utility companies in Bratunac and Zvornik all the way to Pilica. Because this is how dead Muslims are treated in this country. Because the trash gets swept away. This is the status we have in our country,” told Suljagic.

Muslims can be told anything without any consequences, explained Suljagic.

”There is no human misery from Nis to Banja Luka that did not happen to the Mothers of Srebrenica,” explained Suljagic.

”The mothers of Srebrenica are so strong and important that they sent the villains to prison with their struggle and perseverance, ” said Suljagic.
