13639457_1794703597432983_916669080_oNews that Hannah Sumeja Atic (25) will perform the function of an education advisor in the Government of Norway from the 1st of August, made her relatives and friends in BiH and Norway very happy.

She is also very happy and a bit surprised by the offer, which she does not want to miss, despite her obligations of the Faculty of Law, which are coming to an end. “Such a chance, of course, is not to be missed, and I will finish my studies of course. I am very happy, and I hope to contribute to the state of education in Norway to be even better,” she said.

She added that, even as a high school student, she was involved in a youth party Unge Hoyre, and that she was very active in all positions.

She admits that she did not expect the phone call of the Minister in the Government of Norway, which she received about 15 days ago.

“I thought that he is calling me to come to Oslo to discuss the possibility of working as an advisor to the Minister of Education in Bergen. I could not even imagine that he will propose to perform this duty in the Government of Norway,” said Atic.

The new duty due to which, she says, she will need to move to Oslo, represents a challenge as well as great responsibility, given the existing shortcomings in the educational system of Norway. She believes that there should be more work on the education of teachers and their trainings, which will be regulated by the application of new laws, as well as on improving the performance of the kindergartens, which include 98 % of children in that country.

This young girl thanks for her success, among others, to environment that has always supported her. “Norway provided everything to me and my family. We never felt like strangers here. We have worked diligently and received positive critics. I think everyone can succeed, no matter in which country, if they have a goal.”

She believes that her political career will go upwards and that one day, maybe, she will be at the forefront of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. She said that she is following the political situation in BiH, which became much clearer to her after last year’s 7 months spent while working at the Embassy of Norway in our country.

In conclusion, she added that Bosnians are generally very successful in Norway, which is shown by the fact of how many of them are employed, and how many of them are educated in universities.
