Summer Season Mountains klix.baUnlike previous years, the Olympic Mountains Bjelasnica and Igman have been revived this summer thanks to the many attractions that the Cantonal Public Company (CUC) ZOI ’84 prepared for almost all generations of visitors.

As the director of this company Midhat Hubijar said, thanks to this an increasing number of both domestic and foreign tourists from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and the Netherlands is being recorded day after day on these mountains.

“During the winter season, which was very successful, we have announced that we will give our best to revive the summer tourist season on these Olympic mountains as well. We have invested great efforts to enable the citizens a nice stay. Such a summer offer could not have been seen on these mountains for years. Now, there are numerous contents both for the families and for the children and youth who are looking for fun and adrenaline“, Hubijar said.

Speaking of the offer on these mountains, Hubijar points out that everyone can find some sort of fun and recreation for themselves, with prices adjusted to the standards of our society.

“A field for indoor football, boccia, volleyball, table tennis, as well the child fun park with accompanying contents, were opened at Malo Polje on Igman. The catering offer was also expanded at this locality, the restaurant Malo polje was opened which offers home-made meals and specialties, and it is an ideal place for family gatherings and children birthday celebrations. Areas for football, volleyball, and basketball are at disposal at Veliko polje on Igman, while a large number of marked trails for mountain biking is also located here. At Babin do on Bjelasnica, a possibility of renting football and tennis courts, tennis racquets, bicycles and the cable car ride with the panoramic sightseeing which costs five BAM per person are offered“, Hubijar pointed out.
