Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H and Minister of Finance and Treasury, Vjekosalv Bevanda, spoke yesterday with the Ambassador of Sweden, Fredrik Schiller, about the imminent signing of the Agreement on the Development Cooperation 2014-2020, announced the Council of Ministers of B&H.
During the meeting, it was pointed out that this agreement is of a great importance because after its signing, donations by the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA) of at least 15 million euros will be enabled to help B&H annually.
Minister Bevanda emphasized that coordination with the relevant institutions of B&H are in progress, in order to make conditions ready for the signing of this agreement.
The importance of the financial support that SIDA provides through various projects all over B&H is immeasurable and was highlighted during the meeting. Minister Bevanda expressed gratitude for the generous support that the Government of Sweden already gives B&H.
Minister Bevanda and Ambassador Schiller used today’s meeting to exchange views on priority reforms that wait for B&H on its European path, as well as on the political situation in B&H.
