Global Village Dubai combines the world 90 countries cultures at one place. Global Village Dubai, claims to be the world’s largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It is the region’s first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. Every year, it has over 5 million visitors over an area of 1,600,000 m2.
The 23rd session of Dubai Global village started on 30th October 2018 and will remain open till 6thApril 2019. Over 90 countries and 30 pavilions are established in this season, with over 23 concerts.
Countries like Turkey, India, Egypt, Morocco, Yemen, China have very spacious and imposing pavilions, while Bosnia and Herzegovina has a smaller pavilion, but not less noteworthy, under name Bosnia & Balkans, and is located right next to the American one.
At the Bosnian House restaurant, visitors can eat Bosnian pie, and also very popular Bosnian kebab. Bosanski kebab is an eastern name for kebabs in somun with kajmak, onion and ajvar. Bosnian House has been present at Global Village for five years, and last year, next to it, there is the restaurant Koliba where visitors can eat traditional Bosnian lamb from the grill.
The Bosnian House restaurant is very popular among the local population, as confirmed by the fact that in 2016 it was selected as the best restaurant at Global Village.
