12992823_1757344814502195_2137829699_nIn February 2013, the company Gadzo Comerc Ltd. started with the production of the famous brand “Tops” in the plants of the former food giant “Agrokomerc” in Velika Kladusa. Famous biscuit with jelly won a place in the market very quickly.

“Our company is currently producing 8 groups of products: Biscuit with jelly i.e. ‘Tops’, petit biscuits, tea biscuits, soups, food seasoning products, pickles, peppers, salads, chocolates, cocoa beans products and cocoa cream products. Overall, we have 96 different packages,” said Asim Veladzic, coordinator of production in a branch company in Velika Kladusa.

“We are employing 96 workers at the moment. Over 90 % of the employees are former employees of Agrokomerc, as they have many years of experience and knowledge in the production process. As of the 1st of July, when begins the season of processing and production of pasteurized vegetables, we hire an additional 70 to 80 seasonal workers,” said Zlatko Sejmenovic, Director of branch company of Gadzo Comerc Ltd. Velika Kladusa.

“We are currently importing to Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Sweden, England, the USA and Vietnam. Thus, we export directly to our customers in all these countries. We are satisfied with the sale of products because we have a significant increase in production and sales every year. In 2015, we saw an increase in production and sales by as much as 25 % compared to 2014. Our leader product is “Tops”, both in the domestic market, where it is the best-selling biscuit, as well as on the foreign market, “said Sejmenovic, adding that 50 % of the total production is domestic and 50 % goes to foreign markets.

From the company Gadzo Ltd. stated that they are proud on their investments and contribution to the development of BiH market, through opening of new work places and the development of the domestic economy. They believe that with their contribution and launching of domestic production capacities, they are giving a good example for other companies to invest money, since according to them, investments of this type contribute to a better and more stable future.

Veladzic showed the production process of their most popular products, and it is, of course, biscuit with jelly or “Tops”.

“At the beginning is made fruit jelly and chocolate sauce, and then the dough. After this process follows: conveyor belt with dosage dough enters the tunnel furnace, where the baking is done in three zones. Baked biscuits are then naturally cooled and pushed by pumps on the dossier, when dosing of fruit jelly on a baked biscuit takes place. Jellied biscuit then travels to the room for chocolate coating, where it gets extra chocolate topping. Chocolate-coated biscuit then travel through the tunnel refrigerator during which the chocolate coating gets stiffed, “explained Veladzic, adding that they produce 705 pieces of biscuits in one minute.
