The situation at the sources in terms of hydrology is very bad, underground accumulations are still in constant decline, and the inflow of water into the reservoirs is still weak and its improvement is not expected without abundant rainfall, announced the enterprise Vodovod i kanalizacija (Water and Sewerage).

Today in certain parts of the city, i.e. in the settlements Podhrastovi, Sedrenik, Grdonj, Panjina kula, Breka from Dolac Malta to Marijin Dvor, Otoka, Cengic Vila, Alipasino polje, Dobrinja, Saraj polje, Rajlovac, Buca potok, Naselje Heroja – Sokolje, Hrasnica, Stup, Butmir, Kotorac, Sokolovici, Brusulje, Obhodza and Faletici there will be a disruption in water supply in the period from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This implies that at certain localities at some floors of the buildings and in certain height parts of the aforementioned settlements there will be an abruption of water supply in the mentioned period.

During the night hours, from 12 p.m. until 5 a.m. the delivery of water is being conducted under reduced pressure and in following parts of the city: from Dolac Malta to Bascarsija, Otoka, Cengic Vila, Alipasino polje, Dobrinja, Saraj polje, Rajlovac, Velesici, Pofalici, Kobilja Glava, Bare-Sip, Ciglane, Kosevsko brdo, streets Alipasina and Kosevo, Cicin Han and Soukbunar, Podhrastovi, Grdonj, Sedrenic, Sokolovici, Vogosca.

This implies that at certain localities at some floors of the buildings and in certan height parts of the mentioned zones of water supply there will be an abruption of water supply in the mentioned period.

Due to the execution of works on the repair of malfunctions on the water network, today in the period from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. there will be disruption in water supply of following streets:

Rafaela Gaona, Brijesce brdo, Numan Pase Cuprilica, Kurta Schorka, Odobasina, Kobilja Glava, Nahorevska, Hakije Kulenovica, Svrake IV, Vreoca, Hendekusa, Mekote, Huremusa, Novopazarska and Trg Solidarnosti (The Square of Solidarity).

“We would like to especially take advantage of this opportunity to appeal to our appreciated consumers to use the water as rationally as possible, to minimize the watering of gardens and greenhouses, washing the gardens, carpets and other unnecessary wasting of potable water in order to ensure sufficient amounts of water in the reservoirs and maintain more or less normal water supply”, it was stated in the announcement.
