Talks on Improving Bilateral and Regional Cooperation

The Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda will travel to Montenegro today, where he will speak about improving bilateral and regional cooperation with presidents of the government, state and assembly of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, Filip Vujanović and Ranko Krivokapić.

Ahead of his visit to Montenegro, Chairman Bevanda gave an interview for ‘Dnevni Avaz’ where he said that during the meeting they would speak about the European path, regional cooperation, Euro Atlantic integration and the regional housing fund.

“We will talk about the economy, transport and communications, and the topics are Adriatic-Ionian highway and gas. I think that we have to revitalize discussions and negotiations on the Adriatic-Ionian highway. General interest in this has begun. This project would bring a lot to BiH, because 110 km of that highway would go through our territory and BiH would gain more regional significance. I have done a lot through my discussions with Ivica Dačić and Zoran Milanović. Simply, it has to start. The money for the beginning of drafting study documentation stands unused. Montenegro has study documentation, and Croatia has already completed that part of the story. Albania has also expressed an interest’’, said Bevanda.
