In 2015, the Tax Administration of FBIH collected 4.1 billion BAM of direct taxes and contributions which represents an increase by 8.12 percent in comparison with the previous year.
“Analyzed by cantons, 1.532.082.325 BAM were collected in the Sarajevo Canton in the previous year, which is an increase by 7.11 percent. In the total structure of public revenues, 37.31 percent of all revenues of the FBiH were collected at the territory of this canton,” stated the acting director of the TA FBiH Šerif Isović.
Taxes and contributions collected in the Tuzla Canton amounted to 662.236.340 BAM, which is by nearly six percent more than in 2014. Amount collected in the Zenica-Doboj Canton is 540.339.760 BAM with a growth of 15.36 percent in comparison with the previous year.
Growth in collection of taxes and contributions was also recorded in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, where 513.206.046 BAM were collected and an increase by around ten percent was recorded.
Total debt balance towards the TA FBIH on December 31, 2015 amounted to 2.295.718.950 BAM.
Isović stated that the period between November 15, 2015 and February 13, 2016 was marked with intensified activities in inspection supervision of taxpayers for whom there were indications that they do not comply with the laws and do not fulfill their liabilities. Also significantly intensified were activities on the monitoring of work without authorization, control of unregistered workers, and failure in declaring turnover.

Speaking of the results of 14 actions, Isović highlighted that the inspectors of the TA BiH conducted 2.722 supervisions, identifying 226 facilities without operating license and 1.005 unregistered workers.
