The Indirect Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina entity announced that the taxpayers of the Federation of BiH paid 868,035,822 BAM of public revenues for the period January – February 2020, for which the FBiH Tax Administration is responsible, which is 2,664,861 BAM more than in the same period last year.
In the structure of direct taxes for the aforementioned period, income tax was collected in the amount of 70,520,299 BAM, and for February, 36,142,266 BAM; fees and taxes were collected in the amount of 81,711,007 BAM, and in February amounted to 39,521,822 BAM; income tax was collected in the amount of 49.941.157 BAM, and for February 26.932.014 BAM; special fees were collected in the amount of 32,427,476 BAM, and for February 16,958,891 BAM; property tax was collected in the amount of 25,235,516 BAM, and for February amounted to 13,689,433 BAM; fines were collected in the amount of 8.310.626 BAM, and for February 4.094.345 BAM; while other taxes were collected in the amount of 126.909 BAM, and in February 47.487 BAM.
In the period January – February 2020, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance and unemployment contributions were collected in the amount of 598.719.448 BAM, and for February 305.193.142 BAM. In the structure of contributions for the period January – February 2020, contributions for PIO / MIO were collected in the amount of 335,648,596 BAM, and for February 170,873,490 BAM; health insurance contributions were collected in the amount of 235.495.898 BAM, and for February 120.110.890 BAM; Unemployment insurance contributions were collected in the amount of 27,574,954 BAM, and in February 14,208,762 BAM.
According to official records from the Unified System of Registration, Control and Collection of Contributions, the number of employees in the Federation of BiH according to the place of residence of employees as of February 29, 2020 is 531,950 and the number of employees does not include income earners under contracts of employment, temporary and occasional jobs and the copyright contract.
