Bosnia and Herzegovina is at the very beginning of the fight against coronavirus, which threatens to endanger citizens’ health and overall economic life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chairman of Bosnian Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija said after meeting with Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic and Republika Srpska entity Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic in Doboj where they discussed current situation regarding the outbreak of coronavirus.

It was concluded that the institutions responded in a timely manner and that they have adopted adequate measures to combat this virus and that the epidemic is under control, Fena news agency reports.

The interlocutors appealed to all citizens to comply with the instructions of the authorities in such situations, because some citizens did not comply with the instructions.

At the proposal of the two ministries of health, a decision was made that all BiH citizens coming from abroad go to isolation for 14 days, and that decision enters into force on March 16th.

BiH will reduce the number of border crossings for citizens and goods.
