Tegetija: We do not need a dispute with Croatia, but a Diplomatic Solution

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Zoran Tegeltija, emphasized that everyone in BiH must take joint and decisive steps to prevent Croatia’s intentions to dispose of nuclear waste on Trgovska Gora, near the BiH border.

Tegeltija pointed out that everything will be done to resolve this issue diplomatically, for the benefit of the citizens of both entities, and in order to avoid a court dispute between the two countries, Fena news agency reports.

“Nobody needs disputes with neighbors, neither BiH, nor Croatia,” Tegetija said, adding that he expects BiH to define the directions of its work on that issue.

Certain difficulties regarding the definition of the direction of BiH on the issue of Trgovska Gora obviously exist, and Tagetija hopes they will solve that in the next seven to 10 days.

He also pointed out that the border crossing in Novi Grad / Bosanski Novi should be open for freight traffic, which must also be discussed with Croatia.
