Ten Suspects handed over to the CS Prosecutor’s Office after the “Catering” Operation

After the criminal investigation in the Police Directorate of the KS MUP, 10 suspects who were deprived of their liberty in the operation codenamed “Catering” were handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor’s Office.

Anel Sejfović, suspected of the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs with complicity – extended criminal offense, extortion, causing general danger and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, is under the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office. Tarik Džomba, Tarik Ahmić, Haris Biber and Sead Hadžović for the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs in complicity – extended criminal offence.

Mithat Asotić, suspected of criminal acts of extortion and causing general danger. Hamza Asotić for criminal acts of extortion and causing general danger. Mirsad Mujkić, suspected of criminal acts of extortion, causing general danger and illegal possession of weapons. Admir Arnautović, suspected of having committed criminal acts of extortion, causing general danger and preparing a criminal act.

An 18-year-old suspect was also handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs as an accomplice – extended criminal offense.

The suspects will be detained for 24 hours and within that legal period the acting prosecutor will decide on further measures.

Action “Catering” is the result of a months-long investigation conducted by the investigators of the MUP Police Directorate of the Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, and in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the technical assistance of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection, announced the KS Prosecutor’s Office.
