Public Enterprise Autoceste FBIH published a tender for construction of Vijenac tunnel (phase II)
The deadline for submission of tenders is 14 February, and the selection of the best bidder and contract award is planned for the end of March this year.
In early March, it is expected that the local companies finish the digging of the tunnel Vijenac and with it the first phase of the tunnel construction.
In the second phase of construction, PE Autoceste FBiH will put the asphalt road, inner concrete tunnel walls, and access road.
Through a series of negotiations, PE Autoceste FBiH has reached an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in respect to the criteria of tender, which, due to the specificity of the project, are greatly reduced, and thus created the conditions that more BiH companies may participate in the tender, worth 24 million EUR.
