In the village of Ledici in the area of the municipality of Trnovo, the anniversary of the suffering of 24 civilians of Serbian nationality, who were killed 31 years ago by members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), was marked yesterday.

After the memorial service, flowers and wreaths were laid on the memorial to those killed.

In the village of Ledici, on June 3rd, 1992, in the evening, 10 members of the Vasic family, all nine members of the Tesanovicfamily, three members of the Miovcic family, and Savo Kenjicand Sladjana Sekulic were killed.

The oldest victim was Ikonija Vasic, who was 92 years old, and the youngest was Milun Tesanovic, who was only 18 months old.

The village was looted, burned, and destroyed.

By 2001, the remains of 24 victims had been exhumed, most of which were incomplete.

Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Saric, and Mirko Bunoza were accused of war crimes against the civilian population and prisoners of war in the area of Trnovo, committed during 1992 and 1993. However, the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH last year confirmed the earlier verdict of the Court of BiH, which acquitted all three of the charges.
