The Average Salary in Republika Srpska amounts to 1,312 BAM

The average January salary in the Republika Srpska was 1,312 BAM and refers to the salary earned in December, and the average February salary, which will be published in March, will show the true effect of raising the lowest salary from 700 to 900 BAM, when a significant increase in the average salary is also expected salaries in the RS, announced the Federation of Trade Unions of the RS.

The Federation of Trade Unions states that the trade union consumer basket for January amounted to 2,577 BAM and that the average January net salary covers it with 50.91 percent.

Families in Republika Srpska spent 1,168 BAM on food, 647 BAM for housing and communal services, and 226 BAM for transportation.

For current household maintenance, 143 BAM, and the purchase of shoes and clothes in January cost 193 BAM.

The announcement reminds that the highest average January salary of 1,758 BAM was paid in the field of financial and insurance activities, and the lowest of 981 BAM in construction.
