The lifeless body of a man, who is suspected of having committed suicide, was found in the area of Mrkonjić Grad.

As announced by the Mrkonjić Grad Police Department, a man with the initials P.R. was reported missing to the Šipovo Police Station yesterday, who left the family home in an unknown direction in a Škoda Fabia passenger car.

“The passenger car in which the mentioned person drove away from the family home and the lifeless body were found in the morning hours, on February 21, 2024, next to the main Rogolji-Baraći road, in Štrbina, Mrkonjić Grad municipality. The identification of the lifeless body determined that it was the person of P.R. from Šipovo”, according to the PU Mrkonjić Grad.

The Jajce online portal unofficially learns that this is a member of the Jajce Police Department, who lives in Šipovo. The sources of this portal state that it is suspected that the 45-year-old policeman committed suicide.

The on-site investigation was carried out by the police officers of the Mrkonjić Grad Police Department, with the consent of the duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office, who ordered that all measures and actions be taken in order to determine the cause of the aforementioned event, Klix.ba writes.
