The Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colonel General Senad Mašović and his associates, in the House of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, received today a high delegation of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia headed by the Chief of the General Staff, Colonel General Vasko Đurčinovski.
At the very beginning, General Mašović greeted General Đurčinovski and members of the North Macedonian Army delegation on behalf of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH and in his own name, and expressed his words of welcome, satisfaction with the visit and wished him a pleasant stay in our country. During the visit, they discussed the bilateral cooperation of the BiH Armed Forces of two friendly countries, further plans and aspects of cooperation, as well as its improvement in the future in areas of mutual interest, especially in the field of training and schooling in military training centers.
On this occasion, General Mašović thanked for the support provided by the Army of North Macedonia to the Armed Forces of BiH in terms of education and training of our members, especially through education at the military academy of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as other aspects of support to the Armed Forces of BiH within the Euro-Atlantic integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was mutually concluded that the level of cooperation between the Armed Forces of BiH and the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia is high, and that mutual support will continue on the way to Euro-Atlantic integration, until the final accession to the EU and NATO.
The meeting was attended in front of the Joint Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Deputy Chiefs of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Major General Ivica Jerkić and Major General Gojko Knežević, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina Brigadier Dževad Aščić, the Chief of the Directorate for Intelligence and Security Brigadier Nedžad Novalija, the Chief of the Directorate for Operations and Training Brigadier Josip Brajković and the head of the Administration for Policy and Planning, Brigadier Nebojša Stajić.
