The CoM of BiH adopted a Decision on the Legalization of Cannabis for Medical Purposes

The Council of Ministers today adopted a decision to legalize cannabis for medical purposes, announced MP Saša Magazinović, the initiator of the initiative who has been fighting for this step for years.

“I am reminded of the first conference in Parliament that we organized, where we listened to the testimonies of people who were helped by cannabis oil. I have tears in my eyes as people listen to their cries for the legalization of the drug. I remember all the meetings, guest appearances, lobbying, pleas, arguments, “warnings”, messages from people in need… it was worth it. I am overjoyed today,” said Magazinović.

He thanked everyone who has participated in the fight all these years, which, he emphasizes, is not over.

“The most important step has been taken, but the devil is in the details. We are moving forward, but now it is much easier. Many thanks to Irfan Ribić, who was my catalyst for joining the fight for the legalization of cannabis for medical purposes. Thank you to Minister Dubravka Bošnjak, who found a way to bypass the obstructions and propose a decision,” said Magazinović.
