Pannonian Lakes Visits furaj.baThe main tourist destination of the Tuzla Canton, the Pannonian lakes in Tuzla, was visited by 180.000 bathers in July, which represents the best implementation of the plan of visits in July so far – confirmed the director of the Public Utility Company (PUC) Panonika Tuzla Maid Porobic.

Porobic pointed out that the complex of the Pannonian lakes has been visited by 215.000 guests since the beginning of the season until today, which is in accordance with their expectations and, as he stated, the record in the visits, which was recorded in 2013 when the „salt lakes“ were visited by 370.000 bathers, is expected to be broken by the end of the month.

Porobić emphasized that, in July, the lakes have been visited by an average of eight to nine thousand people daily, and that additional ten to fifteen sunny days are needed in order to realize the complete plan of this public company.

He added that they expect an even better response of the guests, taking into account that August is the month of vacations and that guests will arrive from European, especially the Scandinavian countries, through the International Airport Tuzla which will, he said, contribute to the tourism in the area of the Tuzla Canton, and especially at the inevitable destination, the complex of the Pannonian lakes.
