The regular session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, which was interrupted at the end of January due to the lack of a quorum, continued today, but today, shortly after the start, it was interrupted due to the lack of a quorum.
Although it was attended by 14 delegates at the very beginning, after a half-hour break, which was requested by the chairperson of the Club of Croatian Delegates, Marina Pendeš, five delegates from the Bosniak nation, one delegate from the Croat and two delegates from the Serbian nation returned to the session.
Then the Speaker of the House of Peoples, Kemal Ademović, gave a break of 15 minutes in order to try to ensure a quorum, however, even after that break, there were not enough delegates for the session to continue.
Ademović stated that there is no quorum to continue the session, because five delegates from the Bosniak nation, and two delegates each from the Serb and Croat nations are present.
He informed the present delegates that a new, urgent session should be held in half an hour.
At that session, the Proposal of the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the first reading, proposed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, should be considered.
Ademović said that, if that session is held, he will try to agree with his colleagues in the College to consider this proposal in the second reading, so that it would be adopted today.
The agenda should include the appointment of members of the Board of Directors of the Public Radio and Television Service of BiH from constituent nations and others, and the submitter of the ranking list of candidates is the Council of the Regulatory Agency for Communications of BiH, Fena news agency writes.
