FM Turkovic met with Biden in London and thanked the U.S. for its Help in Reforms in BiH

Bisera Turkovic, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, during a short meeting with Joe Biden, thankedthe President of the United States (U.S.), for the help that this country continuously provides to BiH in reform processes and progress.

Turkovic and President Biden met during the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Abbey in London.

“During the conversation, Biden was interested in the situation and progress of BiH and said that BiH is always on his mind. Turkovic emphasized the importance of the U.S. support in preserving peace and stability in BiH and the entire region. During his political career, Biden emphasized ties and good knowledge of the situation in our region, and especially in BiH,” it was published on the official Facebook page of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH.

To recall, leaders and monarchs from all over the world gathered on Monday in London to say goodbye to the British Queen Elizabeth II at the funeral marking the death of the monarch who was on the throne for as many as 70 years.

Out of the 2.000 guests at the funeral, there were around 500 world leaders. There were Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, a Chinese delegation led by Vice President Wang Qishan, former and current British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Liz Truss, Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon and many others. The head of BiH Diplomacy, Bisera Turkovic was present at the funeral on the behalf of BiH, Klix.ba reports.
