Young BH Basketball Players won Second Place at the European Championship

The male cadet basketball team of BiH won second place at the European Championship of B-Division for players up to 16 years of age that was held in Sarajevo.

The young BH basketball players were defeated by the team of Russia in the final match that was played in the hall Sabit Hadzic on Ilidza with the score 77:83 (19:20, 8:28, 28:15, 22:20).

The most effective players in our team were Gobovic with 16, Huseinovic with 15 and Gataric with 13 points.

Regardless of the defeat, young BH basketball players achieved their goal, which is the placement in the A-Division.

Besides BiH and Russia, in the elite rank of European basketball will also play the selection of Macedonia, which won the third place after defeating the team of the Czech Republic.
