The European Parliament is celebrating the 21st Anniversary of the EU’s largest Enlargement

The European Parliament announced today that it is celebrating the 21st anniversary of the largest enlargement of the European Union, when 10 countries joined at the same time.

“Today we celebrate the anniversary of the largest enlargement, when 10 countries joined the European Union on 1 May 2004,” the European Parliament wrote in a post on the X network.

The congratulations were sent to Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
