At this year’s regional semifinals Henkel Art. Award. 2013, Saša Tatić from BiH and the Croatian Lala Raščić were selected, to continue their competition in the regional finals in Austria.
For the twelfth time, the company Henkel Central Eastern Europe (Henkel CEE) has organized the contest Henkel Art.Award. The only comprehensive award for the promotion of art in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
In Croatia, the competition received thirty applications, while in BiH received about twenty of them.
The jury consists of Gabriele Krmpotić Kos, director of Cultural and Informative Centre in Zagreb, and art historian and independent curator Ivana Bago and Saša Tatić from BiH and the Croatian Lala Raščić were selected for further competition with other colleagues from the region.
Henkel Art.Award. 2013 is directed to honor outstanding and innovative works of art and will promote artists in the fields of painting, drawing, photography, video and installation.
Artists from 23 countries were invited to apply for the competition with their works, and so they get a chance to win an art prize worth 35000 euros, consisting of 7,000 euros cash prize and two exhibitions.
At the same time, Henkel CEE will award a scholarship to young Eastern European artists in the amount of 2.000 euros in collaboration with longtime partner CulturContact Austria.
