The Assembly of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously decided at its session today that the Statute of the Association will be aligned with the UEFA Statute, and from now on, the President of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina can hold that position for three four-year terms, instead of the previous two.

Thus, the current President of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vico Zeljković, can remain in that position until 2033, if he gains the confidence of the Assembly in the elections to be held in 2029.

Zeljković came to the head of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2021 elections, and in April this year he received a new four-year term. Bosnian traditional crafts workshops

If he runs and wins the 2029 elections, he will remain president until 2033, while his successor, according to the new Statute, could lead the Association from 2033 to 2045.
