aff-MédéeThe French Cultural Center “André Malraux” in cooperation with the Sarajevo war theater, with MESS Festival, French City Palaiseau and Agglomeration Saclay will organize the premiere show “Medea” which will be held tonight at the scene of the Sarajevo war theater.

The Theater troupe „Minuit 01“, founded by Frédérique Lazarini and Didier Lesour in 2004, has implemented a number of successful projects. They will present for the first time the Euripides’ tragedy “Medea” in their own adaptation and direction to the B&H audience.

Since the project connects two states or two people, it also connects the ancient myth of Medea and the contemporary history of Sarajevo affected by wartime events. At the adaptation of Euripides’ “Medea” Frédérique Lazarini, Didier Lesour, Fabrice Joss and chorus of 15 French and B&H amateur actresses will act in the play.

The entrance to the show is free.
