The Impact of a powerful Russian Missile akin to a Meteorite Strike? “Everything would be reduced to elemental Particles and Dust”

The strike power of Russia’s new missile “Oreshnik” is comparable to that of a meteorite, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During a summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Astana, Putin remarked that the “Oreshnik” missile could target heavily fortified sites and may be used as a response to Western long-range missile attacks from Ukraine.

Putin claimed that Russia already possesses several such missiles and has begun their mass production.

“It’s like a falling meteorite. History shows us the consequences of meteorite impacts, the lakes they’ve created,” Putin warned.

He did not elaborate on this statement, although it is known that Canada’s Lake Manicouagan is one of the world’s largest “crater lakes,” with the ring structure’s diameter close to 100 kilometers and the lake’s inner diameter at 70 kilometers.

According to him, the “Oreshnik” system features multiple warheads that can strike targets after traveling at speeds ten times faster than the speed of sound.

“A large-scale strike with such missiles could be compared to a nuclear one. Everything at the center of the impact would be reduced to elemental particles and dust,” Putin emphasized.

Referring to potential targets in Ukraine, Putin stated that they could include decision-making centers as well as military and industrial facilities.
