The International Airport of Sarajevo records the number of one million passengers this year as well, which is data up to the month of September.

In the period from January 1 to September 12, 2023, a total of 1,000,373 passengers passed through Sarajevo Airport.

Despite the cancellation of the base of the airline company Wizz Air and, consequently, the reduction of the number of air operations, in the same month this airport reached the number of one million passengers served.

“This is a clear indicator that, with great effort, we managed to largely maintain the level of the number of passengers from the previous year. Our commitment is to continue positive business and achieve good business results,” the management pointed out.
