Gaza Health Director Munir al-Barsh said that the Israeli army withdrew from the “Kamal Adwan” hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip and left behind a humanitarian disaster in the health facility.

“The Israeli forces deliberately forcibly took the injured out of the hospital in extremely cold weather and attacked the medical staff,” Al-Barsh stated.

He pointed out that Israeli soldiers destroyed the southern part of the hospital in Beit Lahia.

“The occupying Israeli forces committed a humanitarian disaster, turned the ‘Kamal Adwan’ hospital into a military barracks, and humiliated the medical staff and patients,” he added.

Moreover, he stated that 12 babies, whose evacuation was prevented by Israel, are still in incubators without the necessary amount of water and food.

A Palestinian health official also said Israeli forces deliberately targeted the hospital and ambulances around it.

Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif, who entered the hospital after the withdrawal of Israeli soldiers, stated on his X account that dozens of displaced people, patients, and injured people were buried alive in the hospital complex.

There is still no information on how many people have been killed in the “Kamal Adwan” hospital since December 12th, when the Israeli army entered the complex.
