The jubilee tenth International Day of Yoga was celebrated in the beautiful setting of the Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Several yoga teachers from Sarajevo held an outdoor class, intended for all lovers of this discipline.
The organizers of this event are the Bosnian-Indian Friendship Association and the Embassy of India in Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Budapest.
The International Day of Yoga was celebrated today in Mostar and Banja Luka.
On December 11, 2014, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Decision, which was supported by as many as 177 member countries, declaring June 21 the International Day of Yoga.
Since then, the celebration of this day has become one of the largest mass movements aimed at achieving good health and well-being. Events are organized all over the world to practice yoga, a discipline recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, Anadolu agency writes.
