The body of the last person who was searched for in the area of ​​Konjic, after devastating floods and landslides, has been found, the head of Konjic municipality, Osman Ćatić, confirmed for BHRT.

Ćatić stated that it was Ahmet Haketa (born in 1962), and the body of his wife was recently found.

He added that the funeral and burial of Ahmet and his wife will take place after the family decides when it will take place.

Ahemt Haketa is the fifth victim in the area of ​​Konjic, and with the discovery of this body, all the persons who were reported missing during the floods in this town have been found.

Ćatić told BHRT that the rescuers, with the help of the locals, rebuilt the Lukšija bridge next to the village of Lukšija, in the area of ​​Konjic, and that 6-7 villages were no longer cut off.

In the devastating floods and landslides that hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 27 people died, 19 of them in Jablanica, five in Konjic, and three in Fojnica.

In addition to human casualties, the floods caused enormous material damage.
