At yesterday’s session in Sarajevo, the B&H Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, issued a set of decisions on the awarding of grants for organizations in the area of culture and sport, which submitted projects for tenders in accordance with the criteria that was previously adopted by the B&H Council of Ministers.
With the decision of the B&H Council of Ministers on the allocation of 760.000 BAM of the current grant ‘co-financing sporting events’ for 2013, the beneficiaries have been defined, which are 59 sports organizations in B&H.
A decision has also been made on the allocation of 480.000 BAM of the current grant ‘International Cultural Cooperation’ for 2013, and these funds have been distributed to 79 organizations, which have proposed projects in this area.
The B&H Council of Ministers adopted a decision on the allocation of 2.220.000 BAM for ‘co-financing projects for cultural institutions in B&H’ for 2013.
85 organizations will receive the money for specific projects in varying amounts, from 2.000 BAM to 285.000 BAM, which is the amount that the National Museum of B&H will receive for the construction and rehabilitation in order to strengthen the capacity of the museum.
In addition to these decisions and the allocation of grant funds, the B&H Council of Ministers adopted a decision on approving an additional 373.800 BAM of the current budget of reserve funds for 2013 to sports and cultural organizations that have applied for projects for public tenders in accordance with the criteria that were adopted earlier by the B&H Council of Ministers, announced the B&H Council of Ministers Press Office.
