German Chancellor Olaf Solz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron have completed separate meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, reports the Guardian newspaper correspondent from Brussels.
The correspondent states that Scholz, Melonieva and Macron headed to the EU headquarters, where the summit of the bloc’s leaders is taking place.
The paper previously announced that the meetings with Vučić and Kurti were organized with the intention of reviving the failed negotiations aimed at normalizing relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
The meetings were also attended by the EU’s special representative for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajčak, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
For now, it is not known whether the meetings brought any results, nor have the details of the talks been published.
The meetings were held in a hotel near the EU headquarters in Brussels.
