In the area of Tuzla, in the past period, there were reports of planted explosive devices. Schools were most often involved, and the police found people who made reports, and they were mostly minors.

In the past two days, two false reports about planted explosive devices were sent to the address of the High School of Medicine in Tuzla alone. The students and the teaching staff were evacuated, and in both cases it was found to be false reports.

Bearing in mind that, in the past few days, the police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla have been acting on several reports of explosive devices placed in secondary schools in Tuzla, which were found to be fake, the authorities informed the public that all the cases have been clarified, and the perpetrators have been adequately sanctioned.

“Since in earlier cases it was determined that the perpetrators were minors, we appeal to parents to additionally get involved in solving this problem, especially because it is a criminal offense for which, depending on the case, minors or their parents are criminally responsible.”, said the police administration of the MUP TK.

The police note that such events require urgent intervention, which entails first the evacuation of students and staff at a certain location, and then the engagement of a large number of personnel and equipment, both from the Police Department, and from emergency services that are involved in such cases, which causes large costs. In addition to the above, there are also difficulties in the teaching process.

Police officers are working intensively on elucidating and documenting all received false reports in secondary schools in the Tuzla area, and all available measures and actions are being taken to collect digital traces and evidence, with the aim of identifying and prosecuting the perpetrators of these crimes, Klix.ba writes.
