The Presentation of the Program for Returnees Today

internshipToday The Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees will officially present “The program support to gain experience through volunteer work of returnees with higher education in RS” and the contracts with interns will be signed. The interns and the employers who accepted the highly educated returnees of RS to be involved as volunteers will attend the promotion.

For the realization of this program the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees on the 10th May issued a public call, to which 57 candidates responded, but only 49 fulfilled the criteria, 10 potential employers and 39 potential interns / volunteers.

After implementation of the entire procedure in 12 municipalities of RS, a total of 36 returnees with a university degree are employed.

Thus, 10 economists, six graduate lawyers, seven criminologists, nine with a degree in philosophy and political science and four returnees with degrees in natural sciences, in traffic, engineering and medical faculty will pass through the internship program. For all interns / volunteers, the Federal Ministry of Refugees and Displaced Persons has secured 6.000 BAM for a year from which employers will pay contributions for the work performed. The total amount allocated is 206.400 BAM.
