The Protests in front of the OHR ended, and the Demonstrators warned of Schmidt’s discriminatory Intentions

The protests of dissatisfied citizens ended in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) building, and the demonstrators warned the entire international community that Christian Schmidt’s intentions were discriminatory, anti-democratic, and to the detriment of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Several hundred citizens gathered at the protests, and during the protest, Zagrebacka Street, near the OHR, was blocked for traffic. The crowd dispersed around 6 p.m., after which traffic was normalized.

Demonstrators called on Schmidt to leave the position of High Representative, but for OHR to remain. They also asked the institutions of BiH to sanction and stop Milorad Dodik in his intention of disrupting the peace in BiH and trying to secede Republika Srpska (RS) from the BiH.

“Citizens against the embargo on democracy” was written on one of the banners, while others warned of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), as well as the discrimination suffered by citizens of BiH,

Those gathered demanded from the High Representative to apply the same measures for both BiH entities, and not just implement all the plans in the Federation of BiH (FBiH).

Interestingly, at yesterday’s protests, the organizers from “Restart” allowed all citizens to speak at the rally.
