The Red Cross in BiH launched an Appeal for Help People in Turkiye

The Red Cross Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina launched an appeal for help to the vulnerable population of Syria and Turkey due to the devastating earthquake that hit the two countries.

In this regard, the humanitarian number 17023 has been activated – 2 KM is donated, with a call and a dedicated humanitarian account has been launched to collect other types of aid and funds to help the population of these countries.

(Funds can be paid into the account of the Red Cross of BiH, account no. 1340011130004680, bank name: ASA Banka d.d. Sarajevo, bank address: Fra Anđela Zvizdovića 1/A, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.)

Also, the Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has formed a rapid response unit that is ready, through the Society of the Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to travel on a mission and provide support to Red Crescent teams on the ground.

It is a unit for advanced first aid, psychosocial support, assessment, planning and coordination, consisting of 12 members, mostly medical staff of various specialties, stated the Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Other non-governmental and charitable organizations, companies and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are invited to join this joint humanitarian campaign.
